Hi everyone,
it is our pleasure to announce that Opencast 16.7 has been released:

Opencast 16.7 is a security and maintenance release.

The release contains a major bug fix release of the admin interface. For specific details, please refer to the release notes of the Admin Interface release 2024-11-19.

It also fixes a security vulnerability (CVE-2024-52797) with moderate severity, which may be exploitable for a denial-of-service attack. Therefor, we recommend upgrading to this release.

Hi everyone,
it is our pleasure to announce that Opencast 16.2 has been released:

The documentation for the release can be found at:

This is a biugfix release of Opencast 16. Among several other problems, this fixes an important bug causing problems for non admin users when (re)publishing events. We recommend updating to this as soon as possible.

Additionally, this includes a new version of Opencast’s admin interface, which in turn fixes a number of bugs including one which could cause data corruption.
