Opencast 16.7 is a security and maintenance release.
The release contains a major bug fix release of the admin interface. For specific details, please refer to the release notes of the Admin Interface release 2024-11-19.
It also fixes a security vulnerability (CVE-2024-52797) with moderate severity, which may be exploitable for a denial-of-service attack. Therefor, we recommend upgrading to this release.
RPM and Debian packages as well as container images will be available shortly. Watch for announcements in the Opencast Releases Matrix channel.
