We have developed a opensource product named "PodcastUniv". It is a web managment and controler tool upon PodcastProducer 2 from Apple and specially build for Universities by our University (Nice Sophia Antipolis University - France).
It is available at https://sourcesup.cru.fr/projects/podcastuniv/
This tool and his documentation is in french for the moment but it might help
opencast community.
The main functionnalities are :
- For admin : Manage camera agent by University campus
- For Users : SSO Yale Cas compatibility
- For Users : ability to record podcast from PcP2Agent and manage
records by feed in dedicated space (for a use in LCMS)
- For developers : PodcastUniv is built on Zope/Plone3 technologies so it's
extensible.
